Our compounding pharmacy is not just for humans, but for animals of all shapes and sizes.

We know that medicating animals is not as easy as it sounds, which is why we provide a range of quality compounding solutions for your pets. Problems that are often associated with giving animals medication are taste and dose form. We are able to overcome some of these problems in compounding for example by masking the taste for dogs by using flavours such as liver oil or peanut butter. Sometimes it is much more difficult to give cats medication in an oral dose form, therefore we may compound the medicine in a transdermal cream which is applied to the inner ear.

Some of the medications we compound for veterinary use are used to treat conditions such as:

  • Hypothyroidism
  • Chronic Pain
  • Epilepsy
  • Cushing’s disease
  • Lick Granulomas

Note: All veterinary compounded medications require a prescription from a veterinarian.
